Bisected by Vinton Road and taking its name from Joseph Vinton an early area winemaker famous for his Irondequoit Port this community contains a variety of housing styles and is located closely to the 104 expressway. The nearby Dubelbeiss Lane also an homage to a German-Swiss immigrant family who settled in the area and became the area’s first wine merchant. Vestiges of the area’s past still remain with rooted in the community with the now re-purposed historic schoolhouse located on Culver Road.
